Every day is an open day at Longwood School. Longwood School and Nursery in Bushey is open from 7am for breakfast to 7pm with tea and after-school clubs, Monday to Friday, throughout the year except bank holidays. The day nursery and preparatory school offer continual education for children from three months to eleven years in a truly family atmosphere. 

We are happy to show visitors around at their convenience, as every day is an open day! Please make an appointment and you will experience our small classes, where every child is given every opportunity. From high quality interactive maths lessons, to French conversation groups, to history role-play sessions in our expansive grounds, to ukulele or keyboard lessons, to gymnastics, football and swimming at the adjacent leisure centre, there is always something exciting going on. 

In Nursery we are happy to show visitors around at 11am or 2.15pm daily.

All school children take part in termly day trips and eagerly anticipated residential trips including to France. We might be raising funds for one of our charities, celebrating one of the diverse countries represented within our family or be out litter-picking in the neighbourhood, We promise you that you will see enthusiastic and courteous children enjoying and taking full advantage of their school life. We have had great success in secondary school scholarships and placements over the years.
